He is survived by: his wife Shirley Childress (McCauley) of Virginia; and his grandchildren, Cara (Eddie Myers), Leann (David Fuller), Jenna Childress, Jennifer (A. J. Nunez), Samantha Poole, Zachary Poole (Megan) and Robert Kramme (Kristine).
