He was predeceased by: his parents, Huberto Luna and Librada Valdez. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Lopez; and his children, Jorge Huberto Luna, Alberto Carlos Luna, Erica Crystal Luna, Juliana Luna and Galilea Shantel Luna. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
