He was predeceased by: his parents, Peck Bethel and Peggy Bethel (Clark); his parents-in-law, Buck and Maybelle Clayton; his daughter Cari Michelle Bethel; his brothers, Jerry and Floyd Bethel; his grandson Joe Golson; and his grandson-in-law Luther Belk.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen Bethel (Clayton); his children, Michael Bethel (Julie) of Phoenix, Jacque Anderson (Steve) of Willcox and Scott Bethel of Flagstaff; his granddaughters, Charlotte Belk of Phoenix, Amelia Walsh (Ryan) of Phoenix, Katie Bethel of Willcox and Leigh Ann Bethel of Flagstaff; and his great grandchildren, Gunner Jax Bethel and Jude Quincy Walsh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
