Frances Fimbres Moreno Obituary
Frances Fimbres Moreno of Willcox passed away at home Saturday night, May 27, 2023, at the age of 92. She was born in Willcox on January 22, 1931, to Jesus R. Fimbres and Ernesta (Soto) Fimbres and was a lifelong Willcox resident. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was very active in the St. Anne's Society and the Spanish Choir. Frances was a longtime blood donor for the American Red Cross, she was a volunteer at the Willcox Food Bank. One of her greatest joys was stargazing, she was also referred to be the family historian and had authored several stories. Survivors include her children Louisa, Ernest, Robert, Danny, Mary, Carol, Terri and Vince along with 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Her sisters Amelia and Ernestine also survive her. Preceded her in death was her husband Louis, her sons Ray, Philip and Richard , her grandson Brian and her sister Antonia. A Rosary will be offered 9:00 am on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Westlawn Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery.
