With heavy hearts, at the age of 74, we announce the death of Ruth Ann Callahan (Wickenburg, Arizona), born in Loveland, Colorado, who passed away on January 28, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to make a donation to the American Heart association in lieu of flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Pete of Wickenburg; and her 4 children, Doug of Flagstaff, David of Yuma, Dennis of Lyons Co., and Suzanne of Phoenix. Along with 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren.

“I first met Ruth Ann when my family and I attended Brittany"s air force graduation in August, 2019. I spoke with her while enjoying a delicious meal with the family. After only a few short moments, I can honestly say that I felt as if I knew her my entire life. She seemed to have that way about her; a welcoming personality that made you feel right at home, even when home was 1,000 miles away. Ruth Ann will surely be missed, but I take comfort knowing that her sweet spirit is with Father God.🙏”

“I met Ruth when I was 15 years old (36 years ago) and never did she make me feel awkward or nervous about being in her home. Years later we met again and EVERY SINGLE TIME that she saw me she would say "there's my beautiful girl!" and hug me. She not only gave me the most amazing gift of her son Doug and his undeniably wonderful friendship, she gave me the gift of her and her family. I will always and forever miss her on our camp trips and our card games. I love you mom and will forever miss you”
