It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lon R. McDermott (Wickenburg, Arizona), born in Phoenix, Arizona, who passed away on May 26, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur T. McDermott and Helen O'Sullivan McDermott; his siblings, Kathleen, Margot and Arthur; and his grandsons, Johnathon and Christopher Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Joan D. McDermott; his former wife Paulie DeVoe; his children, Stephen (Diny), Thomas (Cathy), Chandler, Marc (Joanna), Jeffrey (Bridget), John (Monica), Greg Scottsdale (Annette), Patrick Goodyear (Tara) and Suzanne Marie Johnston Tempe (Mike); and his grandchildren, Tina, Nick, Melissa, Eric, Shawn, Jared, Sheena, Erin, Nicole, Miles, Emma, Max, Andrew, Lauren and Delaney.
