He was predeceased by: his wife Glodyne Smith Cowley; and his son Smith Gloyd Cowley. He is survived by: his spouse Cave Creek; his parent Glodyne Smith; his daughters, Cindy Cowley Scarbrough of Phoenix, AZ and Candy Cowley Morgan of Parks, AZ; his sister-in-law Charlotte Webb of Phoenix, AZ; and his grandchildren, Bill Cowley, Shawn Cowley, Michael Scarbrough, William Scarbrough, Callie Morgan and Charles Morgan. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
