She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Gillespie and Thomas Gillespie; and her husband Jim Girard. She is survived by: her children, Jim Girard (Rosario) of Show Low, AZ, Noel Franklin (David) of Holiday, FL, Lori Latura Everett (Chick) of Chesterfield, VA, Jeff Girard (Ann) of Fredonia, WI, Dana Girard (Lisa) of Tampa, FL, Melanie Elliott (Wayne) of Wickenburg, AZ and Douglas Girard of Toledo, OH; and her brother-in-law Edward A. "Bud" Girard, Jr. of Carpinteria. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests any memorial contributions in Eddie's memory be made to the Freedom Express or the new Wickenburg Senior Center.
