He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Wimmer Zapp and Edmund Alfred Zapp Sr.; his aunt Esther; and his uncle Richard Stauffer. He is survived by: his pet Gracie; his daughters, Kristy Zapp of Tucson, AZ and Mara Bateson (Chip Bateson) of Ambridge, PA; and his cousins, Debbie D. and Bern Jones of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by other extended family, as well as treasured friends.
