He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elwood, Dorothy Rix, Rudy and Rosemary Wendel. He is survived by: his parents, Bill Rix and Marilu Rix of Wickenburg, AZ; his sister-in-law Kathy; his brother Chris (Kathy); his niece Lillian; his nephew Connor of Elk Grove, CA; his uncle Mike Wendel (Kathie); his cousins, Michelle Wendel (Chris Lange) and Nathan Wendel (Erin) of Omaha, NB; his friend Dean Anast; his close friend Nicki DeLoria; and also Dean Anast.
In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Wickenburg Community Service Corporation's "DD Network" in support of group homes and day programs; or to Wickenburg Ducks in a Row Foundation, the organization inspired by Andy that will continue to be his legacy.
