She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarice (Danford) and Dan Cosay; and her siblings, Rozina Lupe, Thelma C. Yazzie, Renee Altaha, Cosay Reidhead, Elmo Altaha Sr. Hannah C and Brooks.

She is survived by: her husband Jay Brooks; her goddaughter Shereef Nozie; and her brothers, Lowell Altaha and Herbert W. Cosay. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
