He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hamilton and Annie Byrd Hamilton; and his siblings, Bornton Hamilton, Alfred Hamilton, Martenzie Hamilton, Argie Ruth Aldridge, Suereatha Jordan and Dorothy Hodge.
He is survived by: his wife Claudette; his children, Marcus Hamilton, Marvin Hamilton and Michelle Hamilton; his grandchildren, Lea, Veronica, Sarah and Annie; his siblings, Shelton Hamilton, Aliene Linwood and Jessye Moore; his stepmother Mattie Hamilton; and his stepsister Josephine Smith.
