Robert Morrison Obituary

Robert S. Morrison 81, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2008, from lung cancer. Born in Tucson on October 11, 1927, Bob attended Tucson High School where he played football and made All-State in his senior year. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1950, was affiliated with Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, and played five years on the football team.

He served in the Navy during the Korean war, and over the years worked for several different oil companies. Preceded in death by his parents, Laurabelle and Sydney Morrison and brother, David, Bob is survived by wife, Rosemary; son, John (Patti); daughter, Anne Davis; three grandchildren, Craig Morrison (Stefanie) and Lindsey and Brian Davis; sister, Sydney Morrison; brothers-in-law, J. Thomas Brooks (Sally) and Frank Brooks (Lee); and many dear nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, 3450 N. Kelvin Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85716.
