She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Mercado and Emilia Mercado. She is survived by: her children, Linda Canchola (Zelin), Anthony Cardenas (Irene) and Richard Cardenas (Christina); and her sisters, Elizabeth Fielder (Mike) and Marie Pauline Garcia (late David). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and her friends.
