She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Mercado and Emilia Mercado. She is survived by: her children, Linda Canchola (Zelin), Anthony Cardenas (Irene) and Richard Cardenas (Christina); and her sisters, Elizabeth Fielder (Mike) and Marie Pauline Garcia (late David). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and her friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Harvest City Church (302 W Elvira Rd, Tucson, AZ 85756). A burial was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the South Lawn Cemetery (5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706).
