With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Mercer of Tucson, Arizona, who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary Ellen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mary Ellen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles McLeod; her sister Maryann Reichley (Ronald); and her mother Marian University. She is survived by: her husband Benjamin Mercer; her daughter Susan Hagerty (Austin); her granddaughter Margaret Hagerty; and her siblings, Michael McLeod and Katie Whitlock (Drew).
A Mass will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity (1300 N Greasewood Rd, Tucson, AZ 85745).
