Maria Faith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Faith of Tucson, Arizona, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Shirley I. Faith; her parents, Josefa Acosta and Luis Mendoza Acosta; and her sisters, Armida Vasquez (Roy) and Dolores Carranza (Simon).
She is survived by: her daughter Julie; her son-in-law Guy Kelly; her grandsons, Kevin Kelly (Rachel) and Joshua Kelly (Abbey); her brother Luis (Erna Acosta); her stepdaughter Rebekah Hodge (Lawrence); and her friend Maria. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary (South Chapel) (240 S Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701). A Mass was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St.'s Peter and Paul Church (1946 E Lee St, Tucson, AZ 85719). A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Hope Cemetery (3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705).
In lieu of flowers, Maria's family is grateful for contributions in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Pima Animal Care Center.
