It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Rivas Jr. in Tucson, Arizona, born in Santa Ana, California, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Manuel has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Sr. Rivas and Margaret Rivas (Martinez). He is survived by: his children, Mario Rivas and Sonya Rivas; his grandchildren, Austin Lofgreen and Natasha Lofgreen; and his sisters, Delphie Candanoza and Vivian Lowe.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery (15950 N Luckett Rd, Marana, AZ 85653).
