She is survived by: her husband Michael Dougherty; her stepchildren, Charity James, Audrey Mosley (James), Jamie Wetuski (Eric) and Bryan Dougherty; her stepgrandchildren, Gracelyn James, Devon Mosley and Relena Mosley; her stepgreat-granddaughter Haven Grace Mosley; her brother Steven Burleson; her half-sisters, Kamela "Kami" Lusby and Roberta "Bobbi" Ballwey; and her siblings-in-law, Randy Dougherty (Debra), Kevin Dougherty, Daniel Dougherty (Debra), Kathy Burleson and Lynn Dreher (Michael). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She endured a long, valiant battle with multiple sclerosis and multiple strokes, but ultimately, Alzheimer's disease stole her away.
