It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juan R. Amaro (Tucson, Arizona), who passed away on July 30, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Angelita Nunez; his children, Angela Murrieta, Daniel Amaro, Graciela Lohr and Jorge Amaro; his parents, Heleodoro Amaro and Hipolita Amaro; and his brother Francisco Amaro.
He is survived by: his children, Yolanda Martinez (Peter), Josie Anna (Gary), Alicia Garaygordobil (Jesus), Lourdes Leon (Marco), Alex Amaro, Estevan Amaro (Molly) and Juan Manuel Ortega (Juanita); his children-in-law, Maria Molina Amaro, Paati Amaro, David Murrieta and Charles Lohr; and his siblings, Isidra, Candelaria, Julia, Jesus, Hipolito and Ignacio. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
