Joyce Coon Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Coon (Tucson, Arizona), born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on June 4, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William Richard Coon; her parents, John Bernard Neilson and May Lauer Neilson; her brother Albert Neilson; and her sister-in-law Wanda Neilson.

She is survived by: her children, Laura Marlowe, Karen Kopp (Adolph) and David Coon; and her grandchildren, Meaghan Marlowe, Rebecca Perrera, Christopher Kopp, Alicia Pinkerton, Deanna Rose and Devorah Coon. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, plus a niece and several nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Christ Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden fund or Life Celebration Fund at the address above, or a charity of your choice.
