Jose Antonio Ortiz Obituary

Jose (Joe) A. Ortiz, passed away peacefully on December 7th, 2023 at the age of 74. Jose was born on June 15th, 1949 in Nogales, Sonora to Susanna Rhoads.

After graduating from Pueblo High School, he served in the United States Army and is a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked for Centurylink and retired after 49 years of service. He has been married to his loving wife Judith Ortiz, since June 12th, 1981. Jose was also a musician, he played in many bands, including the most recent band Mas Picante.

Jose was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his caring wife of 42 years Judith, and son Manolito Ortiz.

He will be lovingly remembered for his great sense of humor, and his love of music.
