Jorge Zazueta Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jorge Zazueta in Tucson, Arizona, who passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jorge may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jorge touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ercilia; and his stepdaughter Glerina Romero. He is survived by: his daughters, Salome Zazueta and Patricia Zazueta; and his siblings, Caroline Valverde Perez (Rene D. Perez), Robert Cañez Valverde (Cindy), Isabel Valverde Martinez (David), Evangelina Cañez Valverde, Jesus "Jesse" Cañez Valverde, Adam Cañez Valverde (Reyna) and Alejandra Cañez Valverde. He is also survived by his twin sons and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Martinez Funeral Chapels - Tucson (2580 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713). A rosary will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Martinez North Chapel and Reception Hall (2500 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713).
