John Raymond Hamilton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Raymond Hamilton of Tucson, Arizona, born in Carlsbad, New Mexico, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Hamilton and Vivian Steelman Hamilton (Steelman); and his siblings, Patrick Hamilton, Timothy Hamilton and Virginia Hamilton Bussey.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy (Rusty Williamson); his siblings, Michael Hamilton (Sothie), Ann Brooks, Susan Hamilton, Catherine Hamilton and Mary Griffin (Dennis); and his grandchildren, Dalton Cathey (Destiney), Harley Vera and Haley Vera. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the West Funeral Home (401 N Guadalupe St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the West Funeral Home Chapel (401 N Guadalupe St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
