She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Warfield Seal and Rose Reecher Seal; her husband James "Jim" Spofford; her son Reverend James F. Spofford; and her sisters, Janet Wilson and Lois Main.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Spofford Harris (Hank) of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Helen Harris Waddell (Emery) of Atlanta, Carolyn Harris Portwood (Henry) of New York City and Henry Bullard Harris IV of Boston, MA; and her great grandchildren, Harris, Mills Waddell of Atlanta and Helen Portwood.
