He was predeceased by: his brothers, Joe, Francis and Tom; and his grandson Charlie Spanyard. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Fitch; his children, James Fitch Jr, John Fitch (Antonia), Philip Fitch, Rhonda Fitch, Julie Casella, Deborah Spanyard (Chuck) and Amy Fitch Heacock (Patrick); and his siblings, Patrick Fitch (Katy), Stanley Fitch, Helen Coile, Liz Duncan (Presley) and Kathy Fitch. He is also survived by two grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
