He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses Watts and Clara Watts; and his siblings, Cora Lee Watts Anderson, Ernestine Watts Marshall, Mary Geneva Watts Seaberry, Moses Watts and Robert Lee Watts.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Watts; his daughter Janisa Rodgers (Rodney); his grandchildren, Brittany, Rodney Vincent, Jordan, Jaden, Janae and Jaela; his brother Willie Watts of Indianapolis; his godson Tahmani (Nwogaraji); his mother-in-law Gracie Moore; and his caregivers, Jackie Green, Jacqueline Theophile and Priscilla Heron. He is also survived by extended family, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Tempel Baptist Church (1019 E 31st St, Tucson, AZ 85713). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery-Marana (15950 N Luckett Rd, Marana, AZ 85653).
