He is survived by: his wife Lillian R. Ruiz; his children, Hector R. Ruiz, III (Patsy), Daniel R. Ruiz (Lillian), Alma Linda Leon (Ray), Veronica Marie Zepeda (Henry) and Maria Luisa Ruiz; and his brother Ricardo Borquez Ruiz (Mary Lou). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 grandchildren.
