She was predeceased by: her husband Roderic Peterson; and her siblings, Raul Gomez and Yolanda De La Rosa. She is survived by: her sons, Eduardo, Ernesto (Zelda) and Daniel Paredes; her grandchildren, Eduardo L. Paredes, Ernesto R. Paredes and Sinthea Addy; and her brothers, Rodolfo Gomez and Roberto Gomez. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
She was not just a mother to her boys, but also a mentor to the young men in the neighborhood, Rudy and Alfonso, providing a source of endless support and encouragement, instilling values of kindness, charity, and hard work.
