She was predeceased by: her son William Valdez; her parents, Robert J Fisher and Atala Arvizu Calvillo; her stepfather Ignacio Calvillo; and her brothers, Robert Fisher (Mary), Gilbert Fisher, James Fisher (Lily), Henry Fisher and Oscar Fisher (Rosemary).
She is survived by: her husband Arcenio Valdez; her children, Magdalena Palmer (Mark Powter), Victor (Linda Jadwin) and Anthony (David Werner); her daughter-in-law Barbara Valdez; and her grandchildren, Sonja Darcangelo (John), Coty Valdez and Megan Valdez. She is also survived by her three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary (South Chapel) (240 S Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Parish (1375 S Camino Seco, Tucson, AZ 85710). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Hope Cemetery (3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705).
