It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elgene Vivian Navarrette (Tucson, Arizona), who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Scandrett and Vivian Scandrett. She is survived by: her significant other Ronald James Navarrette; her children, Lucinda, Ronald Jr., Michelle and Robert; and her siblings, Diego Jr. (Elena), Artella (Jim), Diana, David (Linda), Ricardo (Luz), Deborah (Michael) and Forrest Scandrett (Arnette). She is also survived by her husband and children, she is survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary (North Chapel) (204 S Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701). A rosary will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church (5150 N Valley View Rd, Tucson, AZ 85718). A burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Hope Cemetery (3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705).
