With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy D. Klar (Tucson, Arizona), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on August 3, 2019 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda Desforges and Harold Desforges; her husband Earl Klar; her sister Mildred Landwehr; and her granddaughter Melissa Gutierrez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Klar (Frank Lavia) of Tucson and Jean Dugas (Jay) of Albuquerque; her grandchildren, Earl Gieron, Ben Gieron (Brynn) and Janine Burford (Robert); her grandson-in-law Joe Gutierrez; her great grandchildren, Isabel, Darcy, Ethan Gieron, Liam Czech, Sarah, Emily Burford, Kate and Michael Timm (Karen); and her great great grandchild Penelope Timm. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Youth on Their Own, the Humane Society of Southern Arizona or charity of your choice can be made.
