He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McCandless and Wildon McCandless; and his son Scott. He is survived by: his children, Shelley Calhoun (Jon), Tony (Tina) and Daniel; his siblings, David, Tim (Peggy) and Deanna Stemler; and his wife Sharon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
