He is survived by: his sisters, Carol Thompson and Rosemary Griggs; his wife Edith Joy Newman of Sierra Vista, AZ; and his stepchildren, David Newman (Ruth), Blake Newman (Andrea) and Deborah Holmstrom (Todd). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
