She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Shimanowitz; her parents, David Auerbach and Ida Auerbach; her siblings, Kenneth Hilton and Betty Yuchnovitz; and her son Gary.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Krieski (Mark) and Helene Hylander (David); her grandchildren, Joe Krieski and Rachel Margolis (Nate); her great grandchild Oliver Margolis; and her brother Lenny Auerbach. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
