He is survived by: his wife Maria Araiza Troutner; his daughter Ann Troutner; his stepdaughter Marisa Hughes; and his sisters, Joanne Dempsey (Norm) of Guys Mills and Lois Scott (Gary) of Schertz, Texas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
