Anthony M. DeFino Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony M. DeFino (Tucson, Arizona), who passed away on July 17, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Anthony leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Deborah (Martin) and Anthony (Diane); his grandchildren, Stacey, Rebecca and Christopher; and his great grandchildren, Adaline, Matthew, Brady and Carter.

“I met Tony 40 years ago. He signed my application for IUOE Local 4, Boston Operating Engineers Local 4. In conversation it was revealed that his brother in law was my High School principal…….Tony helped me get my start, and i am retiring 7/26/24……. Thx for helpin’ out a kid in need…….RIP”
