She was predeceased by: her parents, Osborn Sloan and Mary Willie Mae Sloan; her husband George Calkins; her son Jeffrey Patterson; her siblings, Frances Sloane, Virginia Banks and Luther Preston Sloane; and her granddaughter Traci Wilford.
She is survived by: her children, Caroline Wilford (Douglas) and Patrick Patterson; her siblings, Mary Gerdenics (Roger) and George Anthony Sloane (Cathy); and her grandsons, Joshua Garrett, Chad Wilford (Lisa) and Jesse Garrett. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
