She was predeceased by: her parents, Matilda Battle (Roberts) and Wesley Clinton Battle Jr.; and her siblings, Doris McClain, Evelyn Harris, Bessie Rawlings and James "Sonny" Battle.
She is survived by: her sister Sarah Battle of Tucson, AZ.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as her grandnieces, grandnephews, and great-grandnieces and nephews.
