It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jose Solares of Tubac, Arizona, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manual Solares and Maria Solares; his daughter Esther Solares; and his siblings, Jesus Alvarez, Manuel Solares, Pete Solares, Mercedes Figueroa, Carmen Lopez, Rosa Ybarra and Ofelia Teso.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Solares; his children, Mary Ellen, Greg Solares and Jose Solares Jr.; his grandchildren, Mayra, David and Omar Solares; his great grandchild Brianna Enriquez; and his sister Irene S. Montoya.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (11 Calle Iglesia, Tubac, AZ 85646). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Tubac Cemetery (39 Burruel St, Tubac, AZ 85646).
