Roy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Roy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edra Sands and Boyd Sands; and his siblings, Marty and Geraldine. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, David, Jenifer (Jonathan) and Amanda (James); and his siblings, Gary and Lona. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family has asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Whetstone Fire Department.
