It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Fay (Char) Opperman of Tombstone, Arizona, born in Loves Park, Illinois, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershel Sr. Burleson and Velma Burleson (Niswonger); and her brothers, Ronnie Niswonger and Hershel Burleson Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Karl Opperman of Tombstone, AZ; her sons, Kirk Opperman of Tombstone, AZ and Craig Opperman (Angela) of McAlester, OK; her grandchildren, Korryn Opperman, Dakoda Mitchell, Dadriana Opperman and Colt Opperman; her great grandchild Jameson Gehrke; and her brother Terry Burleson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial funds may be sent to the Tombstone Vigilantes in Char's honor.
