It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Sanchez Villela of Tolleson, Arizona, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Villela and Artemisa Villela of Tolleson, Arizona.; his sisters, Carmen Marinez and Margaret Rojas; his grandson Jacob Newton; and his son-in-law William Penny.

He is survived by: his children, Grace Nolan, Susan Penny and Phillip R. Villela (Debbie); his siblings, Ray Villela (Lydia) and Petra Villela; his grandchildren, Jade Maglio (Caleb), James Penny, Josh Penny, Jessica Penny Aguilar (Alex), David Perez, Mariah Nolan, Shanna Young, Dana Young and Matthew Young; his great grandchildren, Carlos Rosas, Benjamin Rosas, Ronan Maglio, Olivia Aguilar, Lilah Adamo, Michaela Grace and Emilia Kathryn Perez; and his significant other Berta Ybarra. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
