He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Layton Woods and Bailey Ray Woods; his brothers, Bailey Ray Woods, Jr. (Woody), Varin B. Woods, Harold J. Woods (Hack) and O. Kent Woods; and his son Robert Ray Woods (Susan) of Tempe.
He is survived by: his child Glenn; his wife Linda Lloyd; and his children, Randall (Natalie) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Patricia Gardner (Mike) of Phoenix, Richard (Pamela) of Thatcher, Michael (Kimberly), Jennifer Hampton (Jerry) of Houston, Texas, Daniel of Mesa, Steven (Danielle) of Cave Creek and Donna Williams (David) of Lexington, Tennessee. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
