He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Velazquez and Dominga Velazquez; and his father-in-law Jimmy S. Davis. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Elizabeth Obaidi (Rafee), Anthony Velazquez (Araceli) and Allison Pfeister (Jesse); his granddaughters, Madison and Isabella Obaidi; his siblings, Jaime Velazquez (Milagros), Teresa Rosa (Miguel), Marta Kviele (Anders), Eduardo Velazquez (Louise), Hector Velazquez, Cesar Velazquez and Jorge Velazquez; his mother-in-law Patricia Davis; and his sister-in-law Peggy Schapler (Rick). He is also survived by numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tempe Mortuary (405 E Southern Ave, Tempe, AZ 85282). A rosary will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (3450 W Ray Rd, Chandler, AZ 85226).
