He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Pierce, and Robert Pierce, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Sharlan Haynes (Tempe); his sister Lois; his siblings-in-law, Bob Arnold (California), Cindy and Jim Morris (Texas); his nieces, Susan Lueders (Rick), Nancy Kaifesh (Fred), Terry (Dick), McCarthy and Sally Adelman (Connecticut); and his pet Lisa Mae. He is also survived by 11 great nieces and nephews, 21 great, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to University Presbyterian Church (Tempe) or the Arizona Humane Society (Phoenix).
