He was predeceased by: his parents, George Yates and Edith Yates; his wife June Yates; his daughter Sandi Jackson; his grandson Bryan Mixer; and his brothers, Jim and George Yates.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Mixer (Roy) of Palm Desert, CA, Tami Vogel (Jim) of Keystone, CO and Sandy. He is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
