She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shelton and Wilhelmina Elizabeth Bell Shelton; her husband George Knapple; her daughter Nancy Marie Knapple Omerza; her grandson George Burke; her son-in-law Michael Wray; and her siblings, Joshephine Marie Shelton, Robert Shelton, Frederick Shelton, Frank Shelton, George Shelton (Bud) and Roger Shelton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Knapple Wray, Linda Heidi Knapple and Laurie Knapple Tosh; her sons-in-law, James Tosh and Ted Omerza; and her sister Susan Shelton Knapple. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren, and 9 Great Great Grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tempe Mortuary (405 E Southern Ave, Tempe, AZ 85282). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Resthaven Park Cemetery (4310 E Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042).
