It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Gene Kelley of Tempe, Arizona, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Gene Kelley to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Runyon and Robert Fayette Kelley; his son Dale Harlan; his siblings, Jimmy, Dot, Millie, Paul and Dave; and his great grandchild Shayna.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Skeens; and his children, David Eugene, Donna Lynn, Denise Carol and Deana Christine. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Homeless Outreach project with ASU Project Humanities (http://www.projecthumanities.asu.edu), an organization Don felt strongly about.
