He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Sturgeon and Effie Sturgeon; his wife Judy Sturgeon; his son James Sturgeon; his daughter-in-law Ramona Sturgeon; and his grandson Brandon Sturgeon.
He is survived by: his children, Virgina Lindsey and William Sturgeon. He is also survived by 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 6 great grandsons and 3 great granddaughters.
