She was predeceased by: her parents, John Renmore and Marjorie Ann Mills Perkins; her husband Willard Smithson (Bill); her daughters, Sherri Warden (Sterling) and Candi; and her siblings, Ronald, Keith Ray, Marilyn and Renee.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Smithson (Laurie), Brenda Jackson (Chester) and Steven Smithson (Danyelle). She is also survived by Fifteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
